No mention of tapewounds

Could someone add this to the article. They're mainly for bass guitar but La Bella offers two types for "jazz guitar". And maybe someone should add "half-rounds" to the halfwound description. I've seen a lot of people refer to them as such & that is what D'Addario calls their line of halves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:300:4300:D540:2C27:C4B3:9D90:9DD (talk) 05:48, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Where's all the gauge info gone?

"the sample data below comes from D'Addario string charts for regular, round-wound, nickel-plated strings." There is no sample data. The next chapter on bass strings also has a gauge reference and then there's nothing. Please fix. Guitar string gauge gets directed to this page. 108.204.18.240 (talk) 01:54, 13 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Core types?

Under "Core types", what is the third core type? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.63.80.182 (talkcontribs) 02:18, 16 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Looks like it was octagonal, not considered notable or well enough sourced to keep. Just plain Bill (talk) 02:57, 16 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
