possible deletion

This raises an interesting issue i think. How does one qualify a blogger/thinker. Everyone in the edublogging community knows that stephen is central to online learning. how do i prove it... --Davecormier 03:30, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've added a very small number of his published work and will endeavour to find other materials to fit the A7 criteria. He really is a vital, everyone knows your name kinda guy in online education. --Davecormier 03:41, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Downes is a really big deal in the field, it's just a question of documenting that. Don't delete him! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.203.169.2 (talk) 14:14, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Why would this be deleted? Stephen Downes is the father of Learning 2.0 http://www.elearnmag.org/subpage.cfm?section=articles&article=29-1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mharrisonline (talkcontribs) 04:31, 3 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I do not feel this would be an uncontroversial deletion, so removed the notice. One could file a AfD. Note that discussion above is very old, edits have been made in past 5(!) years since. Unclear why anyone felt need to plea for non-deletion last September. Mike Linksvayer (talk) 21:59, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
