I feel that this article has accidentally duplicated another titled Stemplot. If anyone else agrees with me, I would suggest deleting it and redirecting any search on "Stem and Leaf" to the Stemplot page (unfortunately I'm not yet sufficiently competent to do that myself).

- No problem, I will merge the two articles. My first intuition would be to use "Stem-and-leaf plot" as a name for the merged article, but it may be just a bias. Any opinion ? I should probably go back to one of John Tukey's books and see how he called them. Schutz 08:28, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
- stem-and-leaf display seems to be the original name, according to the table of contents at [1], so we should maybe keep this one. Schutz 14:24, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
- In fact, you are right, there is not much to merge from this article into stemplot - I will just add a redirection to the other one for now, pending a choice for the canonical name Schutz 14:24, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
