Tempus fugit

Tempus fugit: I came by looking to see if there was a page on Salish spindle whorls (too long to explain what those are here), and was amused to see a picture of a CD spindle as the representative image for a spindle; the meaning I grew up with is now, of course, more or less obsolete by comparison :-| Skookum1 17:55, 14 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

European mythologies

The spindle is an important object in European mythologies, from Ancient Greek myths to German folklore stories. Maybe this should be included somehow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.21.224.88 (talk) 04:20, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
