Spacewatch Telescope Detects Its First Asteroids 2000 http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2000/10/001010072508.htm
Is Spacewatch part of Spaceguard ?
--DavidCary 22:02, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
I would guess no.
There are various Spaceguard organizations at the national level, but on a global level it may be more of a concept than an actual international organization.
There are various projects like LINEAR, LONEOS, NEAT and Spacewatch which are discovering the bulk of the new asteroids being found. I don't think they have any formal Spaceguard affiliation.
