No explicit history section can be seen
The absence of explicit history section is kinda suspicious. I think you know what I mean. Natsuikomin (talk) 06:34, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Natsuikomin the history section exists elsewhere (Territorial disputes in the South China Sea and the associated Timeline of the South China Sea dispute). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 01:07, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

- Note For transparency and future reference based on this user's subsequent edits on April 12-18, it is to add "Mar de Las Filipinas Occidental (West Philippine Sea)" to the alternate names. This is misleading as West Philippine Sea refers to a portion of the South China Sea, and "Mar de Las Filipinas Occidental" is an unofficial Spanish translation likely originating from the user. The Philippine government rarely uses Spanish naming these days and the West Philippine Sea has no official Spanish translation to my knowledge Hariboneagle927 (talk) 17:42, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
