Smart inclusion of calculus

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

while i generally think it's a good idea to live by "theory first" and "high level of abstratcion", i wonder if it's really good didactically to include the connection to calculus here, considering that many students in 5th to 9th grade (German system) will read this and they only care about the slope of (very specifically!) the linear function. I myself am not sure about this, maybe we can discuss this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:8070:99C1:1600:4C42:4BDE:6828:8AB3 (talk) 16:36, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I just thought about it and came to the conclusion that we should let the section stay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:8070:99C1:1600:4C42:4BDE:6828:8AB3 (talk) 16:43, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Slope vs mass

In physics mass and slope are often required in the same expression. But both are represented by 'm'. So what to do? Shubhrajit Sadhukhan (talk) 05:41, 3 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
