This article says very little about what this setup actually is. It just compares it to multicamera shooting.

Lists

Okay, what in God's name is the point of the lists? It barely makes sense for the half-hour series, but no sense whatsoever for the hour-long dramas: what hour-long drama in the last 40 years in North America or Europe DIDN'T use a single camera setup? --Calton | Talk 12:57, 6 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. The half-hour show list is somewhat interesting since single-camera is still pretty rare for shows of that length (though becoming more and more common), but as far as hour shows? No hour-long shows come to mind as using a multi-camera setup, with the exception of soap operas.

Vote to merge

I vote to merge Single-camera mode with Single camera setup. They're just different terms for the same shooting technique. --Jeremy Butler 11:00, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Same thing, different name. Combine the info and it'll be fine. --Zybergoat 08:11, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good to me - the two are the same thing. If they do merge, I'd assume consolidating under Single-camera setup would be the better choice for the combined article; I've heard that version of the phrase used more often. Imdwalrus 18:08, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hearing no objections, I have made it so. --Jeremy Butler 12:34, 16 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
