NB: the cricketer is deliberately described as "England", not "English", since he is actually Welsh but plays international cricket for England. Loganberry 15:26, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
But 'England' in cricket terms is actually officially 'England and Wales' (just shortened to England for convenience). For example, the group which chooses the England team is the ECB, which stands for the England and Wales Cricket Board.
