Siberian Express

I have added how the Siberian Express manifests itself on North America synoptic charts. i.e the large anticylcone over the Yukon or Alaska.

According to numerous articles I found googling, the Siberian Express actually has little or nothing to do with Siberia. It appears to be a shorthand expression denoting the arrival of any air mass of Arctic origins, especially when it occurs in areas where such a frigid air mass is relatively uncommon. Dogsled excised

In 2010 a group of Icelandic dog Mushers formed a team called Siberian Express to train and compete with Siberian Huskies in various mushing activities. The group actively promotes dog mushing as a sport and hobby and proper training and care of sled dogs.

I have excised the above material, since it has nothing to do with the weather phenomenon. 70.24.244.20 (talk) 06:12, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Trans-Siberian Railway Disambiguation?

Ended up here when looking for the Trans-Siberian Railway. Worth having another disambiguation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.208.119.200 (talk) 10:07, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've given the title italics as this is a term rather than an actual entity. The Big Hoof! (talk) 08:48, 29 June 2013 (UTC) Blocked sock:Evlekis.Reply
