Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream
Shonda Rhimes is currently listed as the director of Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream in her filmography section, but she is not in fact the director of the movie, but rather was the research director of the documentary. Listing her as the director is misleading and confusing and should be changed. I think the fact that she's previously noted as being the research director for the film previously in the article should suffice. The part in the filmography section which credits her as the director should be changed and we can just leave in that she was in fact the research director but not the actual director of the documentary. - It's locked because of persistent vandalism. Her children's names are not on the page because they are minor children not notable in their own right and have a right to privacy. Librarynerds (talk) 00:54, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Script error: No such module "protected edit request". In the mobile version of Wikipedia (native app), the one line summary of the article has blatant vandalism: "American screenwriter, director, producer and **life ruiner**". I have no idea of the place where this summary is written, and thus cannot be more specific. Please fix this, as it is particularly obvious and unseemly. Highac3s (talk) 03:53, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

Bibliography
I have commenced a Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue. Under Shondaland, it says Shondaland refers to, amongst other things, "Rhimes herself"! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:A343:F100:C17B:FDDE:B4C3:4F85 (talk) 23:45, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Queen Charlotte. I never write to writer/producer. However, I finished the Queen Charlotte series and it touched me deeply! I think this is your most extraordinary series. I can not think of words to describe how the last episode touched me, I cried, I laugh and just fell in love with your characters. Thank you! Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Shonda Lynn Rhimes (born January 13, 1970) is an American television producer and screenwriter, and founder of the production company Shondaland. Inducted into both the Television Hall of Fame and the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame, Rhimes gained recognition as the showrunner—creator, head writer, and executive producer—of the medical drama Grey's Anatomy (2005–present), its spin-off Private Practice (2007–2013), and the political thriller Scandal (2012–2018). She became the first woman to create three television dramas that have achieved the 100-episode milestone.
Rhimes has also served as the executive producer of the ABC thriller series How to Get Away with Murder (2014–2020), the Netflix period series Bridgerton (2020–present), its prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023), and the drama Inventing Anna (2022). Her work has earned her five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, a Golden Globe Award, and special honors at the British Academy Television Awards and International Emmy Awards.
In 2017, Rhimes was inducted as a Chair's Appointee of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' executive committee. She is also a member of the USC Film Council and the Writers Guild Inclusion Committee. In 2007, 2013, and 2021, Time included Rhimes in its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. As of 2023, she is one of the richest women entertainers in America, with a net worth of $250 million.
In 2015, Rhimes published her first memoir, Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand in the Sun, and Be Your Own Person. The following year, she established The Rhimes Family Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting arts, education, and activism.
Rhimes graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991 with a major in English literature and film studies. She returned to Dartmouth in 2014 to deliver a commencement speech, sharing insights on achieving career goals and the real meaning of "having it all."
In 2017, Rhimes signed a production deal with Netflix. Shondaland's first project for the streaming platform was the highly successful series Bridgerton (2020–present), based on historical romance novels by Julia Quinn. Rhimes also created the miniseries Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023) and developed Inventing Anna (2022), a miniseries about a real-life con artist who pretended to be a German heiress.
