Sounds like a tiny town, but there are a lot more than 807 people who call Shoals home. There are hundreds more in the rural areas within the Shoals school district who list Shoals as their home and who use the stores and services in Shoals. Shoals has a good school system (K-12), a nice library, a modern supermarket, an old-fashioned but well-supplied dime store, a clothing store, a couple of eating establishments, a bar, two gas stations, a hardware store, a bank, video rental store, and probably a few more things I haven't thought of.
