Tasmacetus shepherdi sightings and strandings since 2006
Until a paper is written summarizing all the sightings and strandings of this species since 2006, I will be placing said info here for new editors:
- August 2007: Stranding of a 6.57 m adult male T. shepherdi in Golfo San Jorge, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina (47°02’30, 8’’S; 066°36’14, 9’’W) (Strandings of six beaked whales in Santa Cruz province, southern Argentina (1998-2011))
- May 16, 2008: Three T. shepherdi seen with six Orcinus orca (33°48'S, 171°32'E) (Filming off Northland New Zealand)
- 2008: Four sightings of T. shepherdi west of Tasmania (pp. 4-5) and a stranding in Western Australia (p. 19) (Australia. Progress report on cetacean research, January 2008 to December 2008, with statistical data for the calendar year 2008) SaberToothedWhale (talk) 17:54, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
