I think that this article is incorrect in stating that the parish church was dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul in 1280. Hunter's Hallamshire refers to it only as Saint Peter's (whilst also noting that it was called Holy Trinity for a time). I think that the dedication to Saint Paul came either in 1913 when the church became a cathedral or in 1937 when the nearby Saint Paul's Church was closed. JeremyA
