In Shadow of the Hegemon, page 228, it is said to be 300 years after the U.S. Civil War, so adding 5 years from the Battle School days gives us 2170 A.D. AaronCBurke 18:23, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
The first paragraph of the plot is incorrect. Ender does not ever return to earth to pick up Valentine. Valentine, as Demosthenes, writes that she believes in the colonization movement so much that she is going to join the first group of colonists. Ender is surprised by her presence at Eros.
Anybody gonna correct it, or should I?

How about when Bean visits Peter's home in Greensboro? Doesn't Bean visit the sidewalk where he thought Ender killed Stilson? But how can that be when the Wiggin family moved to Greensboro from their old house after Ender was already in battle school. Did they move back?
