Confusion with Cluster

I believe this article should be reviewed because it leads to confusion between Farm and Cluster, which are not exactly the same thing! A cluster is for redundancy (active-passive model) or performance (active-active model), whereas a farm is a group of servers that are working simultaneously to load balance between them.

Same as Data Center

Shouldn't this be merged with Data center? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.181.114.145 (talk) 07:35, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please don't merge it...as a student, I would have had a difficult time of finding this. Keep it simple.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.95.71.99 (talk) 04:17, 4 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually both titles can be redirected to the same article. I propose that it should be merged. § Music Sorter § (talk) 07:06, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Um, no...a server farm and a data center are not the same thing...not physically, and certainly not conceptually. It would be highly inaccurate to define them as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.86.71.226 (talk) 19:14, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Article needs clean up

This article is supposed to be about server farms, yet more than 50% of the article talks about details of the data centers that house them...details that would be irrelevant to someone researching server farms...as simple link to the data center article would suffice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.86.71.226 (talk) 19:20, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
