Contemporary existence?
Is there a proof that such term actually existed during the Cold War? Isn't it a backward formation from the "Third World"? Hellerick (talk) 14:42, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

"the clearest definition for the Second World would be newly industrialized countries"—is this just speculation? Lacking any reliable sources claiming this, it seems like OR to me. · rodii · 17:45, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
