Also there's a number of redirects with the spelling/capitalisation changed that will need to be edited when this article is ready e.g. Savage: the Battle for Newerth -Chaosfeary 13:52, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

If someone was going to get a screenshot I think they should get one of the behemoth (its pretty iconic for the game) and also one from command mode would be goodTreborsdeath 19:03, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

First RTSS?

I understand the citations, however, I'm still perplexed as to why Savage is credited as the first RTSS when Natural Selection came out a year before (2002) and Battlezone 2 three years before that (1999)? Without an accurate definition of what an RTSS is (the page for Real Time Strategy Shooter redirects to the page for First-person shooter, a separate genre) it seems like an audacious claim (even with citations). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.104.69.30 (talk) 20:40, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Newerth reference

The game has pretty much been completely taken over by newerth.com. I would say it deserves to be mentioned somewhere. 87.104.112.100 (talk) 22:03, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

There was a section about SFE and XR and Newerth's control of the game, but it was removed during cleanup by User:Eik_Corell, since it relied entirely on primary sources. With proper sources, this information could be added back to the article - and it is critical information since it is very difficult to play the game without using the newerth.com developed mod. — Senthryl ^(talk) 20:10, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
