First tram
The article claims that Sarajevo "was the first city in Europe and the second city in the world to have a full-time electric tram network..." This is something I've heard before and always accepted at face value. However, it appears not to be true. Brighton was actually the first city in Europe with this distinction, in 1884. Sarajevo's trams weren't electrified until 1895, one year after Belgrade and Bucharest. [1] Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 14:41, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
