Name

Why Santa Cruz Futebol Clube was redirected to Santa Cruz (football club)? There was absolutely no need for that. I think that will be better to redirect Santa Cruz (football club) to Santa Cruz Futebol Clube. Santa Cruz Futebol Clube is the official name of the club, so, is better to simply rename the article Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, because all of the other Brazilian clubs articles use the official name of the clubs. --Carioca 22:04, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Women's team?

2011 national women's champion Gerimex changed their name to Santa Cruz FC for the 2012 Bolivian women's football championship. Is the team connected somehow? -Koppapa (talk) 07:28, 27 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

No. It is just named after the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. I found nothing in my Google search. --Carioca (talk) 19:10, 27 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK, thank you. -Koppapa (talk) 19:13, 27 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
