Semi-protected edit request on 28 February 2023
Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Change "controversial race-related statements" in the section on race to "racist statements". This is more accurate. Tomjoyner (talk) 15:37, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
I have now made this edit twice and it has been reverted twice to euphemistic phrases that the Associated Press Stylebook recommends against using. Not sure why the editors of this page are tiptoeing around calling objectively racist statements racist. Is there any serious question about whether the statements cited in this section are racist? - All Racists believe that racial differences are significant. That does not describe Rush.
- Rush's criticism of the racist behavior of others does not make Rush a racist. Dsoconno (talk) 16:04, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
Find-a-Grave
Under the External Links section of the article, I respectfully suggest adding a link to Rush’s entry in find-a-grave, thus: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/223083407/rush-limbaugh 174.131.164.163 (talk) 01:40, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
- We generally don't link to Find-a-Grave per WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL. –CWenger (^ • @) 03:02, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
- First, Limbaugh's FG Memorial would seem to meet the "valuable images of a grave" standard under the Rarely exception for WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL given there are currently 3 photos of his memorial and only 1 of the man.
- Arguably, the existing photos provide color to his burial location based upon the surrounding area. I would also state that it is noteworthy that his tombstone is engraved, "AMERICAN PATRIOT" which should be considered for addition into his Wiki. Tangentially, there are no photos of the reverse side of his memorial that contains a more substantial narrative including, "RADIO'S GREATEST OF ALL TIME" and "MEDAL OF FREEDOM RECIPIENT". However, FG does contain a complete transcription of the reverse side.
- Finally, while I wholly recognize FG is considered unreliable because its content is user-contributed, Limbaugh's FG Memorial is managed by FG and not an individual. It also contain the information for the Section/Block/Lot to properly locate and verify his burial location. Baroness Samedi (talk) 18:24, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
Influence and Legacy
In the immediate aftermath of Rush Limbaugh's death, content creator Tommy Marcus posted a screen shot to social media of an $100 donation to Planned Parenthood in memory of Rush Limbaugh. Tommy Marcus, better know by his instagram handle Quentin.Quarantino, was able to successfully crowdsource over $1.2M in charitable donations to Planned Parenthood in Rush Limbaugh's Memory through Instagrams fundraising platform. This posthumous philanthropy in Limbaugh's honor is largely seen as tongue-in-cheek given Limbaugh's highly conservative views on abortion and the satirical nature of Quentin.Quarantino's social media presence.

Drug use
Under controversies, should we not reference his admitted addiction to pain killers and attempt to smuggle Viagra abroad given his apparent disdain for drug use?
"Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country"

Semi-protected edit request on 15 April 2025
Script error: No such module "protected edit request". In the section "1971-1988: Early radio career: (near end of section's first paragraph), regarding the sentence "During this time, he became a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers." - suggest changing "During this time," to "During his time in Pittsburgh," As currently written, "During this time" appears to include his time living with parents again as well as his time in Pittsburgh. 2603:6080:E00:4F67:A4FD:A671:172C:C33A (talk) 18:25, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
