Reference to the Anglo Saxon Chronicle
So far as I am aware the Anglo Saxon Chronicle doesn't say that the Roman baths were destroyed in the 6th Century. The only reference to Bath in the chronicles is for the Battle of Dyrham in 577 and the capture of the city. It doesn't mention the baths. The reference given is inappropriate and an opinion article in the Observer newspaper about James Dyson and Bath NIMBYs. Any reference should be to a year entry in the Chronicles not an opinion expressed in a newspaper. IMHO. Cunomaglus (talk) 23:34, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
