Shouldn't this page be moved to "Robert L. Forward"? --Naddy 03:37, 23 Nov 2003 (UTC)

I was about to rewrite the following text for style/grammar, but then I deleted it because the first three paragraphs are already stated earlier in the article (better written & wikified), and the last two are factually questionable (he didn't make any nanotubes, and I can't tell what the antigravity statement refers to):

He studied Antimatter propulsion and tried to make the very first Antimatter Engine for a Spaceship.
He was involved in Gravity Wave detection using Lasers.
He proposed using Lasers to propel Spaceships into orbit.
He wrote the very first articles on how to really make Gravity Control before E. Plodkletnov had success and how to make Antigravity devices.
He pioneered Solid Metastable Helium as a form of rocket propulsion and made Carbon Nanotubes made of Fullerenes to make cables to reach Outer Space by Elevator.

--Hob 22:45, 26 Jul 2004 (UTC) Could someone split this page up? I would think that with the popularity of Beast Wars, Bob Forward, Robert L. Forward's son, would have his own page. On clicking the name Bob Forward, I first thought that father and son were the same person.

I actually didn't know that Robert L. Forward was Bob Forward's son until I actually read this article. Bob Forward has been created. --Victor (talk) 07:40, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
