Father of Elizabeth Mure

I believe that Elizabeth Mure, Robert's wife, was the daughter of Sir Adam Mure of Rowallan, not Robert Mure. I have seen this view supported in several sources, such as this site.

In which case you might want to change the article to state that fact. -- Derek Ross | Talk 22:54, 2005 Jan 10 (UTC)

Janet Keith

Gentlemen, is there any information concerning his great-granddaughter Janet Keith (the grandaughter of his daughter Lady Jean Stewart)?--Anglius 05:58, 18 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Children of Robert II and Elizabeth Mure

John changed his baptismal name at the time of his father's death to Robert. I think his should be explained in this entry to assist with navigation through the site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shipsview (talkcontribs) 18:07, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

death of his mother Marjorie

the beginning of the article states she died shortly after giving birth, later in it says she died in 1317 after a riding accident. Which version is correct??

line 5 of the introduction: (His mother Marjore having died a few hours after his birth in 1316).

Heir presumptive: Robert Stewart, born in 1316, was the only child of Walter Stewart, High Steward of Scotland and King Robert I's daughter Marjorie Bruce, who died (probably in 1317) following a riding accident.[1]

Nominated for GA

I've recently nominated this article for GA review. It's not an article that I edited, but felt it should be reviewed by the WPGA committee. Thanks for reading! LeftAire (talk) 17:46, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lede

The lede is way too long compared to the rest of the article. Can this be trimmed? It should help summarize the entire article without going too much into detail. MX () 17:00, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Surtsicna (talk) 17:05, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section says articles with more than 30,000 characters should have a lead of 3 or 4 paragraphs. This article is more than double this so I don't consider that 4 paragraphs, as this one is, is overlong. --Bill Reid | (talk) 19:26, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
The number of paragraphs is not the problem. The length of the paragraphs is. Surtsicna (talk) 19:27, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
After a quick glance, I agree, the paragraphs look long. Eric talk 20:05, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reduced lead section by a third. --Bill Reid | (talk) 12:12, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wrong Elen in the family tree

The link in the family tree leads to Elen ferch Llywelyn (the elder), but the Welsh prince and Joan had two daughters named Elen and this is the other one - she does not have a wiki page. 2A00:23C5:CE07:1701:A417:2849:59A4:CCD8 (talk) 14:11, 29 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
