Barro-Ricardo theorem
I have done a bit of search for the above theorem, and it seem we don't have an article with a match. Barro-Ricardo theorem. This is a note so that some day, when one of us wikipedians get some time, he or she can remember to slap one together. Or does it exist in another name?
Influential, Conservative Economist
I was wondering if either of these statements can be independently supported. If he says he's conservative, then ok. I wouldn't argue that he not influential, but I think that should perhaps be supported, too. Coleca 01:32, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
I am one of Robert's PhD students from when he was in Rochester...the first time. I may be a tad biased, though I think not, but I believe he definitely is one of the most influential macroeconomists of this era. And he is surely conservative. Tht said, one of the really important lessons I learned from him are that the results from empirical work are what the results are and that reported results ought not to be based upon one's personal views.
- I think he is certainly influential. I'm really just wondering if there's some sort of objective way stating this. Also, to your second point, I would hope all scientists would agree. Coleca 17:58, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
