Wow

can't believe yall had a list of road movies without pee-wee's big adventure on it smh — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.94.186.32 (talk) 01:30, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Added films

I've added a few films that either originate from a non-U.S. country, and U.S. films that are culturally significant:

Non-U.S.:

U.S.:

The table in the article still contains some films that are not exactly road movies in its classical sense, such as "Thor: Ragnarok". Others don't seem to have the necessary significance. -Mardus /talk 03:37, 3 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion'?

Arguably, this is largely a 'road movie', as well. Will not add until further input. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.238.143.157 (talk) 16:39, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Can someone add this to the list of road movies?

List

The list article has been tagged for need sources for over five years. Is there any interest on cleaning this up or maintaining it? If there is not, I suggest removing it. Andrzejbanas (talk) 11:59, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

On the use of "hinterlands" in the description...

I think this is a pretty ambiguous word, and perhaps there are more fitting words (e.g. outback, backwoods, remote areas) that more clearly get the meaning across. When I think "hinterland" I think of a coast somewhere nearby lol Eggmmanuel (talk) 09:10, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Road movieRoad filmRoad film – Other articles describing film genres use "film" rather than movie. RanDom 404 (talk) 21:25, 6 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
