I thought he was of Danish descent....where is the source that says he's of Norwegian descent? More sources and more neutrality

This article is decent, but it borrows way too heavily from the one reference cited, and reads somewhat like a press release; there's a lot of emphasis on his accomplishments and honorary degrees, but not really much in the way of background details. The list of awards can probably go, while the bio section should probably be expanded. This article has real potential, but it's not there yet.--Aervanath (talk) 11:38, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Awards and Honours

I'm not sure if I managed to get my explanation saved in the revision history, but the fact that Hansen received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Alberta in November 2011 has been added, and that he received his UBC honorary degree in 1987 (previously, there was no year mentioned). The Rick Hansen Foundation section is not even close to WP:NPOV

Rick Hansen isn't the CEO of the Rick Hansen Foundation

According to the official Rick Hansen Website, Rick Hansen is the Founder of the Rick Hansen Foundation, not the CEO. The CEO is Doramy Ehling.
