"The loss of a parachute was of no consequence for the capsule, which was designed to land safely on just two parachutes. After splashing down the capsule stayed upright, which meant their recovery was not delayed while it righted itself. Frogmen from the Okinawa were at the capsule within minutes attaching a sea anchor and opening the hatch to get the crew into a life raft. Apollo 15 was the first mission where the crew did not go into quarantine in case of any lunar microorganisms."
^perhaps a reason for why no quarantining?
"They were flown to Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii. From there they were flown along with the CM in a Lockheed JetStar to Ellington Air Force Base, Houston."
if "CM" is to mean Command Module, i have my doubts that it fit inside a JetStar, let alone if it fit inside one along with the crew. i could be wrong, so i didnt make any edits.
- I've added a reason for no quarantining and removed the bit about the CM and the JetStar. Evil Monkey∴Hello 08:56, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

– The current titles seem more fit for disaster movies than encyclopedia articles. I am open to other suggested destinations. RunningOnBrains(talk) 20:55, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

- Comment -- I would prefer to see all the Apollo 15 articles merged, with their length being pruned to a suitable length for an encyclopedia article: it is intneded to be an article, not a small book! Peterkingiron (talk) 16:36, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Comment WP:NOTPAPER. We already have an overview article at Apollo 15. 70.24.248.211 (talk) 07:41, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. If we're considering merging, that's a different question and I think there might be some merit to it - but if we are going to have separate articles (or in the interim) I think the proposed new titles are much more appropriate and less stilted.
