Article title

The title of this entry is wrong, while the text inside is correct: the name of that city is Repentigny, not Répentigny.

Correction Needed

In the first paragraph of the article, the following sentence is obviously incorrect: "Repentigny and Charlemagne are the first towns off the island of Montreal." The original author may have meant that "Repentigny and Charlemagne are the first towns in Quebec that are off the island of Montreal," but I don't know. I'm not a Quebec historian. But I am a pretty good editor, and I do know that there were many "towns" around the world long before Montreal, Repentigny or Charlemagne were founded. At this point, it is a mystery to me what the original author did mean.74.196.127.243 (talk) 19:09, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Origin of the town's name

This article would be improved by including the origin of the name of the town. The French language Wiki page about the town mentions that Pierre LeGardeur was sieur de Repentigny.' Grandma Roses (talk) 20:48, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
