Personnel
Hello,I'm a Japanese Journey fan, and I have a doubt about the personnel of this album. According to the liner-notes which I have with "RAISED ON RADIO" CD, Steve Smith & Bob Graub plays not on track 1 but on track 2.
And I can feel Steve's fine drumming on track 2, not on track 1, to listen to the CD. So I think this article must be incorrect(And the personnel on the liner is right). 220.209.210.120 13:03, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- my 1986 CD says Smith and Bob Glaub played on "Positive Touch", "The Eyes Of A Woman" and "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.253.178.240 (talk) 01:49, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Why is Randy Jackson listed as an "additional" musician in this entry when the WP Journey entry clearly states he was an official member? (Of course, he was NOT an official member but I would like an answer as to the reason for this contradiction.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.64.206.146 (talk) 09:22, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- This page is part of the Journey Book. The main Journey page is what you might call primary, while this page is secondary. So when there is a contradiction, the information on the secondary page is not evidence that the primary page is wrong, but the reverse.
- In any event, the Journey page does not say that Randy Jackson was an official member (if it does, that's the wrong term, and it should be corrected). It says he was a full member, which is based on the current Talk Page consensus for that entry.
It most certainly undermines the validity of wikipedia to have clueless people such as yourself making those calls. I know you have a doctoral degree but it is obvious that you know very little about the music industry. Personally, I worked in the entertainment industry in a few different capacities for many years (with multiple big name acts) and during that time I certainly came to know a thing or two about the industry. Further, I am personally aquatinted with more than one former member of Journey. You could not be more wrong. And your justifications are completely illogical and do not follow industry knowledge nor terminology. You are, indeed, a disgrace to wikipedia. You should stick to your chosen field. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.64.213.30 (talk) 04:30, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Randy Jackson was on a song on the previous album, but this page states he was only on this album
Opposing the line..... "It is the only album to feature bassist Randy Jackson..."
This is a contradiction to the "Frontiers" Album page. He played bass on "After The Fall." Whether he was an official member at that time, I'm not sure, but he definitely was "featured" on the Frontiers album. 76.114.104.169 (talk) 02:36, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- That's right. You should change it. Dave Golland (talk) 17:31, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
