Minor point: The first part of the article says that an EC type is used whilst the latter section says the replaced BO type is used. Longfinal (talk) 12:09, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
78 Squadron stood down
78 Squadron has been stood down due to the RAF Merlin Aircraft being slowly transferred to the Navy. A Naval Air Squadron (NAS) has been stood up and is in residence at RAF Benson for now. This NAS is flying ex-RAF Merlins. I am not sufficiently skilled at updating the Article but I would suggest it needs reviewing on this point.
