Move discussion in progress
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Queen's University which affects this page. I am proposing the following moves:
- Queen's University → Queen's University at Kingston
- Queen's University (disambiguation) → Queen's University
Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. --kingboyk (talk) 08:39, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
Kwin's Universitie Bilfawst
Since the reference doesn't even contain the separate words "Kwin's" (or Kwins, or Kwin, or Kwins', just to be clear), "Universitie" or "Bilfawst", never mind the exact phrase "Kwin's Universitie Bilfawst", I have removed this again. FDW777 (talk) 14:17, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Location
Once again, this is a general encyclopedia and is not written for the express benefit of any of the people mentioned in edit summaries. Other universities in capitals of consituent countries are handled the same way.

Northern Ireland has a unique standing in the UK as it is outside GB. Many people know GB is part of the UK, but people get confused when it comes to NI thinking that this is a different country altogether. This is why I addded UK, and I don't know why this is such a serious problem. CAN I JUST ADD THE FULL ADDRESS? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Truth Seeker 0313 (talk • contribs) 10:45, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
Queen
I guess that the queen that the university is named for is Queen Victoria, who was the Queen Regnant in 1845 when the university got its current name. I had to figure that out from the date. Could that be mentioned in the article? I had wondered whether it was Queen's University because of Queen Elizabeth II and whether it was in the process of being renamed to King's University now that Charles III is the monarch. But it looks like the existing name is staying, which I guess is a good thing. Thanks. 2601:648:8201:5DD0:0:0:0:5265 (talk) 18:57, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
