Problem

I wrote "peridotites, pyroxenites" but it was expanded to "peridotites, dunites and pyroxenites". Problem is that dunite is already one of peridotites. It's a similar situation if I write vegetables and fruits and it is changed to vegetables, apples and fruits. Problem is minor but exists nevertheless. Siim 14:08, 4 September 2005 (UTC)

Is there any template to force these references to start with their own row? In Estonian wiki we have it, see: et:Mall:BrClear. Current solution is not good. Siim 19:59, 5 September 2005 (UTC)

Yes - took me a while to find it though, ( <br clear="all"> ) did the trick - I think. The page looked fine on my low resolution screen, but I do understand the problem and hopefully it is fixed now. Vsmith 03:11, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

IUGS Citation

It's a little rankling that the Footnote that's labeled "IUGS" actually goes to a CSU Pomona Web page that cites no peer-reviewed research nor seems to have undergone peer review or endorsement by IUGS itself. Would it be possible to replace the Footnote link to Pomona Web page with a link to an actual IUGS page, add citations to the Pomona page, or change footnote to another more rigorous citation? I can't find a direct link to the IUGS except for the minutes of an executive committee meeting in January 1999 [1] which records the decision of the IUGS to associate themselves with Roger Le Maitre's new book (reference added) on Igneous rock classification. All diagrams are blank!

All four diagrams are blank. I think the problem must be with the .gif files. Last change was 9/21/2013, must have happened sometime after that. Not sure what to do to fix it. Wwheaton (talk) 02:06, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
