Industrial Uses

In the Production and use section, the industrial process for putrescine creation is described without an explanation of its possible uses. Are there any that could be listed? Adrieth (talk) 21:29, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

The only use I know of is mentioned: polycondensation with adipic acid towards Nylon-4,6. I don't think there are many applications for 1,4-diaminobutane as such. Markussep ^Talk 21:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Natural state?

Both this article and the one on cadaverine leave out a basic but (I would think) important feature of an article on compounds: What is this compound's natural state at room temperature? Is it a liquid? Gas? Boneyard90 (talk) 20:34, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Toxicity

One of these two figures is wrong: "with no-observed-adverse-effect level of 2000 ppm (180 mg/kg body weight/day)." As 2000 ppm is toxic, I guess the no-observed-adverse-effect level is 180 mg/kg, which is 180 ppm. Can somebody who has specific knowledge or access to respective papers check this figure?
