Commonwealth Status allows Puerto Rico to keep its culture while maintain a strong, quasi-state relationship with the United States. Newly added reference

Hi Planelover26, thanks for helping to source the article! It's a helpful addition. To better refine, it would be best placed after "which made Puerto Ricans U.S. citizens,", as the source you added covers that part of the text, but not the constitution part. There is errors in this sentence:

"The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico has an area of 5,320 square miles (13,800 km2), of which 3,420 sq mi (8,900 km2) is land and 1,900 sq mi (4,900 km2) is water.[82] "

It should be (source the same [82]) :

"The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico has an area of 3515 square miles (9104 km2), of which 3459 sq mi (8959 km2) is land and 56 sq mi (145 km2) is water.[82]" Audraudra (talk) 22:37, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

Calling Code

The calling code is just +1. The 787 is an area code. The articles for the US and Canada don't say "calling code: +1" and proceed to list every single area code in the country. We shouldn't treat this country any differently just because they only have one area code, or a number that's small enough to list all of. And in this case Puerto Rico is part of the United States.
