Did you work on Project POSTAR?

Many people did in the 14 years it took from its inception to its launch. Even if you connected just a couple of wires, please leave any comments, corrections, anecdotes or photos you can spare to help raise awareness of this historic project. [Send an email to the author]

References

I took a look for references for this article. I found two major ones that corroborate almost all the facts as written with the exclusion of the participation of Explorer Post 2268 of the Denver Museum of Natual History in Denver, CO. I have flagged that one issue and hope someone can provide a credible reference. While I don't want to diminish anyone's hard work, there isn't any sources I could find thus far to support that one fact. 71.178.211.225 (talk) 22:19, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I was the the integration specialist for the fluid droplet experiment, a member of the Post 2268 side of the joint project. Buried in boxes somewhere I have the references you need. That would include press releases from the museum and Martin Marietta, plus my ugly mug was splashed across the front page of Florida Today the day after launch, plus I was interviewed on TV--CNN, CBS, and local, plus Japanese press from the JIPC on launch day. They're packed away with the t-shirt all the reporters and NASA people signed, including Bob Sieck, boasting that it was NASA's "most on-time launch ever." Good times.
