PUP member - update new part leader 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.85.199 (talk) 18:12, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Why is Gusty Spence not mentioned in the article? It seems like he was an important man for the PUP? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.1.31.81 (talk) 14:51, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
New Logo
The PUP have a new logo, downloadable from the Electoral Commission website. I've no idea how to upload it to Wiki I'm afraid though http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/templates/search/document.cfm/18167
Description of the PUP as "Left-wing"
It is doubtful that any Loyalist organisation can be accurately described as "left-wing", and the use of this term is misleading. The PUP's links with the UVF should argue against the use of such terminology. It would be more accurate to state that within the context of a Unionist ideology the PUP has a populist orientation and draws its support largely from working-class and plebeian elements of the Protestant community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.221.51.202 (talk) 12:41, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
External links modified
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Progressive Unionist Party. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add Template:Tlx after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add Template:Tlx to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20091206143218/http://www.pup-ni.org.uk:80/party/yourquestions.aspx to http://www.pup-ni.org.uk/party/yourquestions.aspx
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
Cheers. —cyberbot IITalk to my owner:Online 14:29, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
left wing or left of centre?
I must admit I was taken aback by the reversion by Editor Vif12vf. When I pursued the reference link as regards the PUP being left wing, it actually said "left of centre". I would be grateful if Editor Vif12vf could explain their edits, providing whatever reliable sources for their reversion, which i was unable to detect when they nullified my efforts to improve this encyclopedia.
