"Presbytery" isn't needed in the first line, that is merely a redirect to "priest" and "elder (religious)"--Samuel J. Howard 17:42, 3 May 2004 (UTC)

Make this a real article?

It's not that helpful just to say "it could be any of these things". There must be a reason why the same word has such different meanings. Could anyone volunteer a real article on what the term "presbytery" means, its etymology, current usage etc? Stevage 14:17, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
