(As "Stigma (botany") this was a redundant stub and should be removed - Marshman 01:37, 8 September 2005 (UTC). However, after looking about, I think there could be an article on the pistil, and this moved to there since it is a better effort than the former "pistil" page; I will just rename it over. - Marshman 01:42, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Now I see we also have a good article on carpel which makes this page redundant. This is the problem with creating stubs all over Wikipedia. These need to be compacted down into real articles - Marshman 02:03, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
