This is my first page, I know I need to make this a stub now as I understand it. Please bear with me.

I have added a small amount of further information to the article although it is still a stub. why I have put that it is believed to have been built by Bishop Strickland is there is now a debate amongst historians that Strickland built the Hutton Hall Pele Tower in Penrith town centre instead but so far no conclusions have been reached

Images
Even though the article has been substantially augmented, I still cannot see how it really needs four images. Although they are good ones. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 16:20, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- The angles with File:Exterior of present-day ruins of Penrith Castle, 2008.jpg and File:Penrith Castle in autumn.JPG are similar enough that I think we might just need one of the two. The historic view is worth keeping for historic value and the image currently at the top of the article offers a different view. Nev1 (talk) 17:06, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- Agree. The Autumnal pic is far more artistic, but for the purpose of illustrating the actual ruins, it is taken from a lot further away- focusing on leaves rather than the castle. So I'd !vote, remove the Autumn one, and keep the 2008 picture. If the article were fatter of course I suppose it wouldn't matter so much. But it aint. So it does. - Right then, I've gone ahead and removed it. Nev1 (talk) 00:07, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
