There was an identifiable Peelite faction for many years after Peel died - better treated as a political party in its own right.

@37.144.245.25 Peelites were Liberal Conservatism; meaning that they support gradual reform rather than "Bang, here you go!" reform, whilst Whigs were more like Classical Liberalism, long supporting constitutional reform. Ihaveabadname (talk) 12:37, 30 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
