Charles III was King at the time, Jesuits etc. was down to Monino. Added dates and referenced the Motin de Esquilache riot for future link/redirect. Alf 20:50, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Changed 'Motin..' to 'Esquilache riots' as in José Moñino. Alf 30 June 2005 16:42 (UTC)
Indulted?
I just did a fairly extensive stylistic edit dealing with grammar & syntax. The word "indulted" remains. I would guess that it should read "indicted," but I'm not about to edit on the basis of a guess. Could "insulted," too. Perhaps the original writer will return & be so kind as to clarify.

Indulted Redux
OK--my edit didn't 'take' the first time because the slave servers were catching up; I just re-edited, though I still have a couple of questions.

WikiProject Military history/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2008
Removed military History tag as subject of the article is not notable for his military exploits but rather his political and diplomatic deeds and is therefore out of scope. --dashiellx (talk) 19:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
