Garnish.

Garnish: a common garnish on the side for Pad Thai also includes shredded red cabbage and shredded carrots. 2601:1C0:C682:D00:4CCC:6ECC:EF29:F70B (talk) 00:15, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Generally, pad thai does not contain cabbage or carrot. Cabbage and carrot can greatly (and negatively) affect the taste of pad thai. --Miwako Sato (talk) 15:36, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

National Dish

I don't know, this phrase at the beginning certainly irked me. It's not the dish Thai people think about when they think of everyday food. Green Curry, Som Tum, Pad Krapao, may be. Suredeath (talk) 02:40, 6 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Removed from lead, where the unqualified statement was misleading. The body can discuss the perceived link to Phibun's nationalism, which is actually apocryphal.[1] --Paul_012 (talk) 15:49, 6 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
