Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Please do not use the offensive term "committed suicide". Use ended their life, died by suicide, completed suicide, killed themselves, etc. Thank you 2600:1700:191:8320:FBE5:5AB6:737F:6255 (talk) 01:46, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

100% with you. Language evolves and this has always been reflected in media, including encyclopedias. Suicide is not a criminal act, so how can we say it was “committed” ?? 2601:8C0:84:AE60:DDF1:B651:1C74:713C (talk) 02:31, 17 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Television filmography

Why are his reality shows not included in the listing of media he's performed in? 71.105.203.14 (talk) 18:46, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Picture

I realized that the picture in the infobox is very outdated. Ozzy doesn't even look the same anymore. Can that be changed at all??

Freedom Of The City award, Birmingham, England

All members of the original BLACK SABBATH (including Ozzy Osbourne) will become a Freeman Of The City Of Birmingham on January, 28th, 2025. The honor has been bestowed upon only 50 individuals since its inception in 1888, and only once in the 21st century. https://blabbermouth.net/news/black-sabbath-members-honored-by-birmingham-city-council

Update: The council voted in favor to confer the title, "Freedom of the City", as of today for all original members of Black Sabbath, which includes Ozzy Osbourne. Here is a quote from the end of the referenced source below,
"It was agreed at today’s meeting that the council should confer upon the members of Black Sabbath the Freedom of the City, which means arrangements will be made for the awarding of the title."

Not dead

Apparently this was just a rumour, so please don't update the article to say he's died without a credible source. DavidFarmbrough (talk) 03:05, 14 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Given that the article you want to link to doesn't provide any further details about the name prince of darkness, that doesn't really seem appropriate. meamemg (talk) 18:36, 23 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Ozzy Played Harmonica, the page should be changed to reflect that.

I tried to put in an edit request, but I was not allowed to.

Ozzy has been recorded playing Harmonica on Black Sabbath's self-titled album, specifically on the track "The Wizard". This ability was also showcased on the album 13, on the track "Damaged Soul".

He even has a signature model harmonica with the company Hohner: https://hohner.de/en/instruments/harmonicas/signature/ozzy-osbourne-signature

There is video evidence of Ozzy playing Harmonica, but I am not allowed to link that here, which is ridiculous. Zigmeister01 (talk) 21:05, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Template:Re Nobody is saying he didn't play Harmonica, what's your issue? I'm sure you've read the infobox guidelines about secondary instruments, at Infobox musical artist. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 21:10, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's mentioned here. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 21:16, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
I agree with FlightTime Phone. Just because he had played a harmonica, does not make it suitable for inclusion in the artist's Infobox, as it should only list his primary instrument, which is "Vocals". If he has used any other instruments, they should instead be listed in the Personnel section of the song(s) or album(s) it was used on. HorrorLover555 (talk) 05:31, 19 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
