Roxane Labs or Xanodyne?

The page lists Roxane Laboratories as the distributor of Roxicodone in the U.S. However, http://www.xanodyne.com/products-other.asp would indicate that this trademark would belong to Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals. I visited Roxane Labs' site and they don't seem to mention anything about Roxicodone.

an import ref, but not in wiki

In 2007, the profits were just a few billion.[1] As of July 2016, more than $31 billion from OxyContin, the nation's bestselling painkiller.[2][3][4]

The OxyContin profits have added the family to the Forbes: The $14 Billion Newcomer to Forbes 2015 List of Richest U.S. Families[5] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.218.11.176 (talkcontribs) Template:Reflist talk

Oxycodone vs. Oxycontin

Does this page distinguish between Oxycodone and Oxycontin? Addison Q. Maddison (talk) 15:20, 3 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Oxycontin is a brand name. That's a bit like asking if you distinguish between Kleenex and 'facial tissue'. MrOllie (talk) 15:24, 3 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
No, there is a difference. Oxycontin (the version of oxycodone that got Purdue into a mess) is a TIME-RELEASE version of oxycodone.

I have tried to edit to more clearly distinguish and explain the relationship. Daphne Morrow (talk) 02:45, 8 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Well done, Daphne. Maybe make your own editor page? Mine is minimal, because as a retired technical editor, 99%+ of mine are simple typo or grammatical corrections. Addison Q. Maddison (talk) 03:21, 8 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Again, stop reverting reference improvement

...for the umpteenth time. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Whywhenwhohow#Please_stop_vandalizing_reference_improvement RememberOrwell (talk) 07:16, 11 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Despite attempt above and the one linked to above, the edit warring by Whywhenwhohow continues, refusal do discuss on talk pages continues.
Previous false claim as basis for revert was that https://www.rxlist.com/oxycontin-drug.htm was 10 years old, yet it is marked "Last updated on RxList: 1/10/2024". Not 10 years old.
Rehashed claim is that the FDA label info at rxlist is not MEDRS; this is used in edit summary as basis for revert. Yet the user adds FDA labels as basis for content themselves. Seems to be wp:gaming to me. Even reverting reference tag addition for the umpteenth time, which is certainly not constructive. RememberOrwell (talk) 01:52, 19 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
