The equation for the conversion from ammonia to nitric oxide should be: 4NH3 + 5O2 <===> 4NO + 6H2O

Overall reaction when carried out in the air

As a beginner in chemistry, I'm confused about one thing. If everything is divided by 2 at the end, Why does 4NHA3(g) and 4HNOA3(aq) become NHA3(g) and HNOA3(aq) respectively, as if the equation was divided by 4 instead? Eugenio0027 (talk) 02:41, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
