I don't think Orange was incorperated into the United Provinces, which was a republic; I think the princes of Orange (par hasard being influential figures in the Republic) exercised souvereignty over Orange (they had no souvereignty over the Republic, ofcourse.) Warmest city in France
Hello, as it has been discussed on the French version of this article, the assertion as to the fact that Orange is the warmest city in France is erroneous. One example suffices to prove it: the annual average temperature of Nîmes is 14.4°C, while Orange's is 13.8°C. Since this piece of information has been relayed on many a website, I think it is important to correct it on Wikipedia.
