Quantum harmonic oscillator is a linear equation

There is a mistake in the article. The Schrödinger equation with a harmonic potential (Quantum harmonic oscillator) is a differential equation.

Let's take

(22md2dx2+12mω2x2)ψ1(x)=Eψ1(x),

and

(22md2dx2+12mω2x2)ψ2(x)=Eψ2(x).

Thus, this is also a solution

(22md2dx2+12mω2x2)[ψ1(x)+ψ2(x)]=E[ψ1(x)+ψ2(x)].

I will move this to another section.Nicoguaro (talk) 17:21, 16 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Nondimensionalization and natural units

The concept of nondimensionalization is not very well applied in the case of natural units system. If the speed of light is considered dimensionless then space and time have the same (natural) dimension.--5.2.200.163 (talk) 16:32, 1 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
