Discussion

This article presents some information, which, as a Bengali from Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's land, I found difficult to believe. Some of it is factually incorrect and somewhat mixes Myth with reality. So, this must be checked and verified with references. --Ragib 9 July 2005 19:02 (UTC)

Dear Ragib - Please give some details of the innaccuracies you see in the current page. I will glady check the references with you in order to improve the content. The page was in a very basic condition when I checked a few days ago, I made a number of edits and added some information, then suddenly there seems to be all kinds of reverts going on from a number of users? Thanks, Gouranga. You might notice that I made the comment last year, on July 9. The version I was referring to is this. Since then, the article has vastly improved, thanks to the work of many editors. The article looks fine to me now, except for the occasional copyvio inserted by the anonymous editors. Thanks. --Ragib 21:22, 13 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Understood Ragib, sorry I thought it was a new comment. Dear Matus dasa - please include a condensed form of the Jagai & Madhai story, or leave as is, the page is too long according to Wiki guidelines otherwise. Your servant, GourangaUK 22:06, 14 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

For the copyvio vandals from 134.21.34.*

Please stop pasting the extremely bad grammar-ridden text from http://www.gaurangadharma.org/ . The article is quite well in its condensed form, and that's what wikipedia articles are supposed to be. Your cut-and-paste vandalism doesn't help the article. If you are interested, please work on *real* enhancement of the article rather than cut-pasting. Thanks. --Ragib 09:21, 15 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

The copyvio is getting to a very irritating form. The latest copyvio came from http://www.vnn.org/editorials/ET0208/ET22-7509.html . PLEASE work for making the article better. Pasting whole stanzas from the Vedas does not make the article any better, rather it casts a dark shadow on the articles credibility. If this copyvio continues, I'd have to protect this article. Thanks. --Ragib 10:38, 15 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vandal

whoever is doing this valdalism, do u understand you are serving absolutely no purpose?--ppm 03:32, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

this article should be rolled back to a previous condensed form, unless the recent edits are justified. --ppm 00:19, 20 January 2006 (UTC)this article should be rolled back to a previous condensed form, unless recent edits are justified.--ppm 00:20, 20 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

It appears the Vandals have stopped? At least for the past few days. The issue seems to have resolved itself.GourangaUK 10:28, 20 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Suggestions: Can we move the "principal names" section to the end, as that is not perhaps the first thing people want to know? also, principal names according to what? some references would be nice. --ppm 22:35, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

NityanandaNitaiNitai – Nityananda is also widely known as Nitai. Mostly Nityananda's name is taken along with Gaur as 'Gaur Nitai'. Moreover, there are multiple saints and godmans with the name Nityananda. Their biographies are also on Wikipedia. This leads to a lot of confusion. When we have an option of uniquely identifying Nityananda Prabhu as Nitai then we must do that. That can be done by renaming the title as Nitai. This move would enhance the recognizability and precision of the title.Vedantsharma1008 (talk) 12:52, 15 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
