Romanization of Greek titles
I am not sure of the correct convention in Wikipedia, but shouldn't Greek titles be given in Greek characters, followed by the romanized version? E.G. Του Αγαθου (Tou Agathou)--APRCooper 09:27, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Date of death?
The article on St. Nicephorus in the Catholic Encyclopedia gives his date of death as June 2, 829. What is the source for the date given in this article, April 5, 828? Caeruleancentaur (talk) 08:34, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- Since the Greeks also commemorate him on June 2, I should think this is the correct date of his death. Caeruleancentaur (talk) 08:39, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- It could be that the Greeks used the Julian calendar while the Catholics use the Gregorian Calender. If you have the source, then go ahead and put in the Catholic Encyclopedia as a source since it's the Common Era calender thats in use. Take Care... Dinkytown 17:11, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Nicephorus vs Nikephoros
Is there any reason why his named is given as "Nikephoros" instead of "Nicephorus"? All other Patriarchs are called by their Latinized names. Tintero21 (talk) 23:17, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
